These terms govern use of Northline Events ("the service") by event organizers and their teams. By creating an account, you agree to them.
Northline Events helps you create events, manage guest lists, generate personal invitation cards with QR entrance passes, send invitations and reminders over WhatsApp/SMS, track RSVPs and contributions, and check guests in at the door.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the guest data you enter, for having a lawful basis to contact your guests (for example, that they're genuinely invited to your event), and for how you use any contribution or payment information you record. You agree not to use the service to send unsolicited bulk messages to people who haven't been invited to a real event, or for any unlawful purpose.
WhatsApp and SMS delivery depend on third-party networks and, where applicable, on WhatsApp's own policies for automated senders. We make reasonable efforts to deliver messages but cannot guarantee delivery, and a sending number can in rare cases be restricted by WhatsApp for reasons outside our control. We recommend not relying on WhatsApp delivery alone for time-critical information the day of an event.
Any "expected" or "collected" contribution amounts recorded in the system are for the organizer's own bookkeeping. Unless explicitly stated otherwise for a specific feature, the service does not itself process payments — any money changes hands directly between guest and organizer, outside the platform.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". While we take reasonable steps including regular backups, we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we're not liable for losses arising from downtime, delayed messages, or data loss beyond what reasonable backup practice can recover.
You may close your account at any time; see our Privacy Policy for how we handle data on account closure. We may suspend an account that we reasonably believe is being used to send spam, harass guests, or otherwise break these terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northline Events is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including guest no-shows, undelivered messages, or event-day issues, beyond fees actually paid for the service in the preceding three months.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
